Sarah Cody is thrilled to be a part of the Fox 61 Team, once again.

Sarah began her career in Hartford in 1998. Over the years, she has covered it all...from breaking news to politics to fun features. Sarah took great pride in hosting our summer series, "DayTrippers" and spearheading a local entertainment round-up.

Sarah has interviewed celebrities such as Jon Bon Jovi, Jewel, Martin Short, Kid Rock, Robert Duvall, Julie Andrews and Tommy Lee....as well as news makers Laura Bush, Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy.

While a student at Hartford's Trinity College, Sarah pursued her love of journalism with internships at WFSB-TV and CPTV. Upon graduation, she began working at WHDH-TV in Boston, one of the most aggressive news stations in the country. She tackled many jobs in the newsroom, such as Assignment Editor, Satellite Producer and, ultimately, Off-Air Reporter. She also produced a women's segment called "7 On Assignment".

Sarah, who once studied in Florence, Italy, now lives on Connecticut's shoreline and routinely enjoys our beautiful beaches with her two young sons and husband, Paul.

She has been nominated for four Emmy Awards.
